BikeHike Adventures is currently recruiting a full time marketing/pr/communications assistant. BikeHike Adventures is an multi-sport adventure travel company specializing in international adventures worldwide.

 

The job description is:

 

  • Measuring tactics and producing reports on company performance
  • Managing company Google Analytics and AdWords accounts
  • Writing and designing monthly e-newsletters
  • Forming and maintaining strategic alliances with complimentary companies
  • Pitching media and writing press releases
  • Writing and managing the company blog
  • Managing company social media accounts
  • Editing copy and images on the company website using Dreamweaver
  • Increasing sales through creative ideas


Supporting Role

  • Assisting with annual brochure writing and creative
  • Assisting with tradeshows
  • Helping with sales and operations when needed
  • Competitor research and analysis


 Job Requirements     

  • Diploma or certificate in Marketing / Communications / Public Relations
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Exceptional writing skills
  • Highly motivated with a positive attitude
  • Team player
  • International travel experience and ideally active and outdoorsy
  • Able to work in a small office environment
  • Exceptional organization and time management skills
  • Comfortable in MAC environment
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) proficiency
  • Photoshop and Dreamweaver skills an asset
  • Can work independently and a self starter


 
Salary     $36,000 - $40,000 annually + One International Trip (tbd based on experience)
