Have no fear, you’ve come to the right place. We understand that while sometimes you’ll know exactly what you need, other times it’s not so clear. If this is the case, when you post your project simply outline what you generally want to accomplish: more publicity, increased sales, new marketing materials, etc and let Advicetap’s consultants and freelancers give you their opinion on how to best reach your goals.

How is Advicetap different from other job sites, recruiters and Craigslist?
Most job boards charge hundreds of dollars to post a job. They also show your job to all kinds of people, leaving you to sort through tons of emails from unqualified candidates. Recruiters charge hefty fees and nail you with a premium price tag if you decide to continue working with the person they’ve placed you with. While Craigslist is free it’s notorious for spam and you’re very likely to receive tons of emails from under qualified people from all over the world. Advicetap is affordable and puts you in front of only qualified local consultants and freelancers.

How do consultants and freelancers charge?
This really depends on the professional. Some common ways include: charging by the hour, by the project, by the half-day or day, or by monthly retainer.

How much do consultants and freelancers usually cost?
Whoa! That’s a loaded question. Consultants and freelancers fees depend on many things. Their level of experience, their skills, the results and value they can provide your business. Where some may charge $40/hr, others charge $250 or $10,000 a day. Don’t let that scare you though. When you discuss with the professional what your goals are be sure to let them know what your budget is so they can recommend how they can deliver the best bang for your buck.
